Pick an outfit for your shepherd. You carry a staff, and the sheep will follow you as you walk — "my sheep hear my voice… and they follow me" (John 10:27). Press V in-game to switch between first-person and third-person views.
Just colors — no names or photos. Safe by design. (Press Back, then V to spin your shepherd in surround view.)
Everything here is optional and grouped below — tap a section to open it. Nothing is required for your child to play.
Set a daily play limit. When it's reached, the game gently winds down with a restful verse — teaching that rest is good and holy (Genesis 2:2–3). Pair it with Screen Time / Family Safety as the hard backstop.
Daily limit:
No chat, no names, no typing — ever. Players only see each other move and send a few pre-approved emoji (👋 🙏 ❤️). It's off by default and behind a quick parent check, so a young child can't turn on networked play on their own.
Parent Dashboard (optional). See play time, sessions, missions, and Scripture learned — only anonymous numbers, never a name or any personal info. Create a Family Code at vineblocks.com/dashboard, then enter it here to link this device.
📧 Weekly report. A summary of play time, progress & multiplayer activity — compiled on this device and sent from your own email app. Nothing is stored on our servers.
Move progress to another device, or recover it after a cache clear. No account — just a private code you keep. Progress also backs up automatically once a code exists.
Offline copy (works even without the code):

VineBlocks is free forever for kids. If it's blessed your family, you can Bless the Vine at vineblocks.com/support — half of every gift supports the Covenant Life Birth & Wellness Foundation.
Have a supporter code? Enter it to unlock the Golden Vine shepherd outfit — thank you!
Progress saves automatically — stopping never loses a build. This erases all builds and starts a fresh garden. It cannot be undone.
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28
You've played your time for today — well done! Now go play outside, read a book, or say a prayer. Your garden will be waiting for you tomorrow. 🌳
