Host a playtest — build together in 5 minutes

Get your family, cousins, or youth group into the same world together — no accounts, no downloads, no chat, no strangers. One grown-up sets it up; everyone else taps a link.

  1. Open the game & turn on multiplayer

    Go to vineblocks.com/play → ⚙️ Parent Settings → Multiplayer & the Commons. Tap the green “Parents: turn on multiplayer” and answer the little math question (this keeps kids from enabling it alone).

  2. Create your private world

    Under A private world, tap “➕ Create & get a code.” You’re now in your own shared world with a short code.

  3. Copy the invite link

    Tap “📋 Copy invite link.” It copies a link like vineblocks.com/play?room=YOURCODE.

  4. Send it to families you trust

    Text, email, or message the link to the parents in your group. Only share it with people you know — anyone with the link can join that world.

  5. They open the link & a grown-up taps Join

    When they open your link, the code is already filled in. A parent goes to Parent Settings → Multiplayer, passes the quick gate, and taps Join — and they appear in your world beside you.

What to do together

🏠 Build side by side — raise a village, a church, a homestead. In a private world the owner can allow free building or keep it to safe Build-Kits.
🤝 Share & give — hand a friend bread or shekels; feed and clothe the “least of these” together (no trading, no haggling — just generosity).
🎯 Co-op quests — the whole room works one shared goal (plant, feed, build, harvest) and celebrates when it’s done.
🐑 Explore the Bible — walk to Bethlehem, the empty tomb, or into the Tabernacle together and discover verses along the way.
🛡️ Safe by design. No child accounts, no personal info, and no chat or typing — ever. Players are shepherds with curated names, so there’s no way for anyone to message your child. Multiplayer is off by default and always behind the parent gate. The public Commons (no code) is Build-Kits-only so strangers can never place raw blocks.
