For parents

How VineBlocks works

Two places, and almost nothing is required. Here's the whole map on one screen.

The 30-second version

1

Your child plays ยท required

Open vineblocks.com โ†’ tap Play โ†’ pick Creative or Survival. That's the whole thing โ€” no download, no account, no setup.

2

You set it up once ยท optional

In the game, open โš™๏ธ Parent Settings to set a daily time limit and โ€” if you want it โ€” turn on multiplayer.

3

You monitor remotely ยท optional

Want to watch from your phone? Make a Family Code at vineblocks.com/dashboard and link it in Parent Settings.

Two places

๐ŸŽฎ

The Game โ€” vineblocks.com/play

Where kids actually play. Everything a parent needs is right here on the device โ€” no account required.

  • Child: tap Play โ†’ pick a mode โ†’ go
  • โš™๏ธ Parent Settings โ†’ daily time limit
  • โš™๏ธ Parent Settings โ†’ turn on multiplayer (here, not the website)
  • Sound, display, progress backup, supporter code
๐ŸŒ

The Website โ€” vineblocks.com

Optional extras for grown-ups. None of it is needed to play.

  • Safety โ€” how your child is kept safe
  • Support โ€” give, and get a supporter code
  • Dashboard โ€” monitor play remotely (Family Code)
  • Churches โ€” run a group world for a youth group

Multiplayer, simply

Turned on inside the game: Parent Settings โ†’ Multiplayer โ†’ tap to unlock. Then pick one:

๐ŸŒ

The Commons

One big public world everyone shares. No code needed โ€” tap "Join the Commons" and you're in the same place as everyone else. Safe: no chat, and everyone builds only with approved Build Kits.

๐Ÿ”’

A private world

Just for people you know (cousins, a church group). One person taps Create and shares the code; everyone else types that same code and taps Join.

โœ… Is any of it required? No. The only thing you truly need is to open the game and press Play. Time limits, multiplayer, dashboards, accounts, and giving are all optional โ€” add them if and when you want.
