For churches & ministries

A safe world your kids' ministry can share

Imagine Wednesday night: your students build together in one private, invite-only world β€” parting the Red Sea, standing in the lions' den, earning rewards for memorizing Scripture β€” with zero chat and zero strangers. It's the discipleship power of a game kids beg to play, made completely safe for your ministry.

Built for ministry

Everything a leader needs β€” nothing a leader has to fear

VineBlocks was designed from the ground up to be private, safe, and Scripture-centered. That makes it a natural fit for a children's ministry, youth group, VBS week, or Christian school.

Private, invite-only worlds

You own one world and share a code with your group. No public servers, no kid accounts, no one else can wander in.

Safe by design, not by settings

There's no chat or free typing anywhere in VineBlocks β€” so there's nothing to moderate, filter, or worry about. Safety is structural.

A hands-on Bible study

Walk your group into the story you're teaching, then gather and talk about it. Scripture becomes a place they've been, not a page they skimmed.

Reward Scripture & service

Students earn in-game β€œblessings” for memorizing verses and serving others β€” a fun, faith-building incentive you control.

Leader dashboard & rosters

Lock the world, keep building safe (kit-only), clear it between sessions, add co-leaders, and see each student's minutes, verses & missions.

Serve the β€œleast of these”

Built-in quests grow food to give away and care for others in-world β€” turning a game session into a lesson in generosity.

Ready-to-run

A 4-week series your leaders can run tonight

No prep, no printing. Each week pairs a Scripture with a place your students walk into together β€” then a talk-about question to close the night in a circle.

Week 1

Trust when the way is blocked

Cross the Red Sea together as the walls of water rise. Talk about a time God made a way when there seemed to be none.

πŸ“– Exodus 14:14
Week 2

Courage in the lions' den

Stand with Daniel through the night as the angel shuts the lions' mouths. Where do your students need courage to keep praying?

πŸ“– Daniel 6:22
Week 3

Small in the world's eyes

Face Goliath with only a sling and faith. What β€œgiant” feels too big β€” and what does it mean that the battle is the Lord's?

πŸ“– 1 Samuel 17:47
Week 4

Serve the least of these

Grow food together and give it away in-world. Close by naming one real way your group can serve someone this week.

πŸ“– Matthew 25:40

Get started

Running it takes about five minutes

1

Create your world

Open the Leader Dashboard and create a private group world. You'll get a code and a leader PIN β€” no cost to start.

2

Share the code

Give your students the world code (on the screen, a slide, or a bulletin). They tap Play, enter the code, and pick their first name β€” no accounts.

3

Build, learn, gather

Walk into the week's story together, complete the Scripture quest, then close in a circle with the talk-about question. Lock or clear the world anytime.

Pricing

Free to start. License it to sustain the mission.

The game stays free for every child, always. Churches can run a private world at no cost β€” and if it serves your ministry, an annual license helps keep VineBlocks free and growing (and half of every gift funds a birth & wellness foundation).

Leader questions

Common questions from ministry leaders

Is it really safe for a group of kids?

Yes β€” safety is structural. There is no chat or free typing anywhere, worlds are private and invite-only, and children have no accounts. There's nothing for you to moderate.

Do my students need accounts or downloads?

No. They open the site, tap Play, enter your world code, and pick a first name from a fixed list. It runs in any modern browser β€” iPad, Chromebook, Windows, or Mac.

What if I've never run a game in ministry before?

You don't need to be a gamer. Create a world, share the code, and follow the 4-week series. Kids will teach each other the controls in minutes.

Can I control what they build and keep it appropriate?

Yes. Turn on kit-only building so students place pre-made, wholesome structures (no raw blocks means no inappropriate imagery), lock the world, add co-leaders, or clear it between sessions β€” all from the Leader Dashboard.

Is there a cost?

You can run a private world completely free. An optional annual ministry license ($99/yr) helps sustain the work and unlocks co-leaders and larger rosters β€” and half of every gift funds a birth & wellness foundation.

Which Bible translation do you use?

Scripture in VineBlocks uses the New King James Version (NKJV). Every Bible-story scene is built to reflect the biblical account.

Bring your ministry into the story

Start a private world tonight, run the first week this Wednesday, and watch your students walk into Scripture together.
